I may be doing my first maternity shoot in 2 weeks which will take place indoor and outdoor. For outdoor it will be daylight to sunset shots. I have a single 580ex II, 18-55 IS and a 50mm f/1.8 II. I'm also on a budget so I really don't want to spend too much. I was thinking to rent flash triggers (I don't like the 7D's built in trigger), softbox, and a better wider angle lens but I would like to know POTN's opinion. What are your suggestions?

Maternity shoots are great for available light with the 1.8.

what if she wants a full body shot in her living room and I won't have enough space? What kind of prime lens would you use for that situation?

Wait, maybe I misunderstood. Has the baby arrived, or is the mother is yet with child? LOL
