Anyone have experience of firing 3rd party flashes using Flex TT5? Or is operation restricted to the Canons?
I'm thinking it may be easier to trigger using the plusII's and a sync socket as TTL is not supported on the flash?

As long as the flash is a dumb flash and not a dedicated flash, you shouldn't have any problems triggering the flash with the FlexTT5. The flash can be mounted in the hotshoe of the FlexTT5 or connected to the Flash port of the FlexTT5 via a sync cable. ...Leo
