Remote Shooting Question

I have a Canon 7D.
Question is:
In AI Server or any other mode, with a remote is it possible to rapid shoot pics?
Or can I only shoot one pic at a time?
If yes, what would be the setup.

Yes, set your exposure mode to high speed continuous shutter and you're good to go. Keep your thumb down on the remote's button to fire off a series and you can even lock it open to keep shooting.

I should have mentioned, I have an infra red remote, will this work?

Should do...I have a phottix radio trigger and that works fine.

I tried it, but it only shoots one at a time.
Can you give me more details on the setup.
Im fairly new with the 7d.
