2 shots from earlier this week.

The Panning shot was captured with a 50D w/ 70-200 f/2.8L IS I

The park bench shot was captured with a 50D w/ 100mm Macro

Both processed in Adobe Lightroom and sharpened in Photoshop.

Thanks for any feedback!

I like both of these, but:

1, too much negative space?

2, foreground slightly overexposed, texture of the board is completely washed out

100% agreed. negative space is good but only if it is effectivly used.

i still like the photos alot, i love driving my nitro rc. wish i could get a hpi or losi like you have

**off topic** How do you like the 100mm f/2.8 macro? i think i am going to get this lens next. all the pictures i see from it just make me want it **back on topic**

The reason I left the upper negative space is for the dirt that is being slung from the tires.

Oh, the 100mm is one of my favorite lenses! Super sharp and so versatile (from macro to tele-shooting & everything in between, it's amazing! Love using it whenever I can! Of course a little long for walk-around shooting, but I still use it as such sometimes because I love the bokeh and sharpness it gives! Much lighter than my 70-200 which is why I choose it a lot of times because I will typically carry 2 cameras.

My g/f has the 100mm L and will say IQ I can't tell a difference, but the feel of the L is nicer, has IS, and of course it looks better! But, does it capture better images than my cheaper non-L, I can't tell!

it would be nice to have that red ring on it but i wont care if i get the non L. im using a tamron 70-300 without IS (VC for tamron) and im used to it.

im going to see if my school has one tomorrow so i can borrow it, just found out about being able to borrow gear from them :)
