MA- How do you do it??

So how exactly do you guys properly adjust your lenses on a MA capable body?

I've tried charts, lining up AA batteries... nothing works.

I mount my camera on a tripod level to the subject, be it chart or batteries.. AF then 2 second timer.

When i think i'm done since they look really good shooting charts, i take it out and do real life testing and they're all horrible. Worst then i started. :rolleyes:
