I'd like to see Canon make, as part of its EOS system, a camera with a true black & white sensor. That is, the sensor would be sensitive to all colors in each pixel, equally, by removing the color filters when that sensor is made. I'd think that would have the side effect of increasing the sensitivity. It should also make for even sharper images since there would be no pixel interpolation needed. Then bring back the yellow and red filters :D
