This is day 8.
I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to think of anything to shoot for today but luckily this little gem of an idea popped into my brain so me and my friend Rodney rolled with it. Got kicked out of the original location by some a-hole security guard so we had to relocate. I had to compensate for the lack of ambient light by changing what was originally supposed to be a single picture into a two shot composite but ultimately it worked out to my benefit because I've been meaning to start shooting a few more of this style of shots so it was cool.

Today was pretty slow but overall a good way to spend the day off of school. It was good to just chill out and sit at the house all day.

The image itself is a two shot composite, one for the subject and one for the background.

Great idea Jack - I've wanted to try something like this, but don't have the CA weather to at my expense. :/

Anyways! I think the comp is very nice. However, I think it angle could have been better - maybe something where your subject is in the the middle of the street. So the curbs frame the shot a little better. The flash camera left seems a little hot to me. Maybe that is what you were going for...just thought I would mention it.

Over all I like it. I love what the street light adds to the shot - the flare is cool! Nice colors and sharpness :)
