A friend from work just got his '68 Corvette repainted and let me shoot it. This was my first car shoot. Much harder than I thought it would be. Especially the motion shots.

Wow...I'd say for your first shoot you did extremely well...heck, if it was your 100th shoot, you could be proud of this ;)

Gorgeous car and great shots...love the processing...both the desaturated oldschool ones and the rest...well done all around :)

Of course, I like the last one the best. If you're going to print it for him, I'd clean up the edges of the highlight line in the side & clone out the antenna in the far background.

Nice car, nice photos & some very nice backgrounds. Like Frank my favorite is the last one, but I'd (personal choice here) do a bit of dodging on the car to bring it out just a bit more in a few of them.


A skill is developed through constant practice with a passion to improve, not bought.

for your first automotive shoot, you did REALLY, REALLY well!

they're all very nice, but the last one is the money shot.
