More info | Sep 17, 2005 21:04 | #15 I have about 100 mid-day shots from Pompeii that pretty much suck due to really bad lighting conditions. What I learned from this was that no matter how much everyone else in your group wants to make Pompeii a "stopp off" on the way to somewhere else, I will insist that I be there early morning or late afternoon if I have a second chance. That being said, I'd still want to be many miles from there before dark. The town around the ruins is a nasty, dank, dirty, run-down has-been of a place where you wouldn't want to have to find a hotel room. SWPhoto-Imaging
