This helicopter gives tours of the Hoover dam and probally spends more time on the ground running than actually flying.
I was wondering what the dark spots on the rotors were, and then noticed they lined up with the exhaust pipe, is this normal?

If that was a car engine I'd say it's not running the greatest (burning oil or running rich) but I don't know anything about helicopter engines so... They are Jet engines Thanks, Tom the Peregrineflier
