I have Photoshop CS5 Extended and have just bought a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mk II. I have also installed the Canon Easy-Photoprint Pro plug in for CS5. When I try to print from either the Photoshop print function or the Photoprint Pro plug in I get the same problem. The printer starts to print but only manages a strip between 2mm and 5cm before ejecting the paper and looking for the next sheet. If there is no more paper I get the 'out of paper' message. The problem is intermittent, but happens in the majority of cases when I choose High print quality which, as I bought the printer for photos, is most of the time. A secondary problem is that some of the aborted prints had a double image with about 2 - 3 cm between images, and wild colours. This seems to be a CS5 problem as I don't have a problem with stand alone Canon Easy-Photoprint EX, MS Word and MS Excel. Has anyone had similar problems and possibly a solution before I go crazy, not to mention the waste of paper and ink.
Very strange for sure. Hopefully somebody will respond with a solution otherwise I would start with a fresh CS5 install.
