I have set a website up mainly for golf course photography as my list of golf courses will soon be growing and I wont be able to print out every photograph and hang them up in clubhouses.

Kaluzaimages (external link)

The main reason for this site is for the members of the golf courses I photograph to go on and be able to purchase the print they want.

I wanted something simple and easy to navigate.

Any feedback?

i like it, there are only 2 things that bug me.

1) the "golf and landscape photography" is too thin so it gets broken up and hard to read
2) when you click on a link on your nav bar a white bock appears

other then that i think its good

I am a web developer / designer for the last 10 years... so I hope my feedback would be useful to you, sorry if being a bit harsh

1. The portfolio images cycle too slowly for me, I wish there was a way to control the next/prev images in the list
2. Your 'home' page does not do much for me as it is just a static page. I would actually use your "portfolio" page as the homepage because at least it is doing something
3. the email link on the contact page has bad contrast with the blue sky - I would suggest putting a contact form here - also to protect your email address from spam bots
4. some of the galleries only have 2-3 pictures, I would add more to make your portfolio seem more diverse
5. on the homepage, for SEO reasons, I would have at least a blurb about you and what you do - it will help search engines find your site and its contents.
6. the "live" link is a little out of place for me, I know you want to focus on golf/landscapes, but the live music portion seems out of place, maybe change your company image to "golf courses and events photography"
7. I have a 1920x1080 monitor (as more and more people will have these days as costs go down), I would make your site's width 1000px (as it is now 700px), so even on a mobile device like an ipad, it would look good full-screen. This way the images would pop more without the need to 'click-to-enlarge' which you don't have anyway

Other than that, nice layout - I like the minimal approach

Both very good feedback.

I agree with the golf and landscape photography being too thin.

The white box on the nav bar is a software bug and I need to update the program (which I am working on).

The portfolio, I will make it a little faster. As for the button to cycle I quite like how you cant control them (for now) until I get more content on the others.

Email contact form, I will do that then. My dad suggested that and I didnt listen to him. haha.

Gallerys have little pictures simply because I am working on them.

The page width should be at 900px, at least I thought it was.

Thanks again both of you!

redone it using your feedback. kaluzaimages.com (external link)

Still got the white box on the nav bar, until I get new software.
