The link doesn't work but if you search any of the Gitzo product that's avaiable for the rebate, the rebate is there. (Mail in form)

The rebate works at "authorized dealers."

You can signup to be notified at B&H. At the time I originally posted this, they never had it in stock. The rebate is good for another month or so, so hopefully someone will have it in stock!

Just received ballhead from Adorama. It's a great little head for the price. Hard to go wrong with a Gitzo product under $25. The rubber feet for the tripods cost more than this... I wanted a head for my 7D and 60mm macro. This should do nicely. Thanks dr4gon for the original post.

Got mine in yesterday. Looks like Adorama is back to taking orders again. Rebate is good till the end of February. This thing is solid as a rock and you can just feel the quality! Made in Italy of course.

What do you need to use this ball head with a caamera? Also, the rebate is good until 28 Feb, but it's backordered on Amazon. I wonder if the ball head would ship before then? Can you cancel the order if it doesn't ship prior to Feb 28?

You don't need anything. It has the standard 1/4-20" bolt on top. There's no quick release plate. And it's really not worth adding one for another $100.

Of course you can always cancel or refuse shipment.

The price is now $29.90. Anywhere still has it for $24.90?

You'd be hard pressed to find these in stock. At $30, still an excellent deal for a quality head.
