Hi all, I have two questions.
1. I have two Sandisk Ultra II 4gb CF cards that i bought brand new from costco. They worked great. One day, one of them stopped working.
By stopped working, I mean my 20D would no longer read them, it would always give me error CF. I tried to format them on my computer, I always get a "windows was not able to format" error message. I tried the other card, it was also not working, giving me the same error's on both my 20D and my computer. I tried formatting the CF card from my camera. It will work normally, until after a few times of plugging the CF card into the computer and reading/uploading/processing/whatnot, then it will go back to it's hapless state. I've tried two different CF readers as well as the one that's built into my desktop.

2. Does anybody have any method's of creating their own camera bag dividers or have bought some for cheap somewhere? i bought a 200DG on ebay without the inserts. I did not think at the time that it would be such a nuisance to live without these inserts..

thanks!

After you finish uploading your pictures from your CF cards to your computer, put your card back into your camera then delete the pictures and then format the card in your camera right after. You should have no problems with your cards if you do that every time you use them.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

While I use SD cards, I always format them in the camera, never the PC.
