Sunpak RD2000 - capacitor noise?

For those that have the RD2000, does it have an audible capacitor whine like older flashes tend to, or is it silent like the newer generation Canon units (430EX for example)?

Considering the Sunpak as a compact lighting solution..

Capacitors don't whine.

But I would expect the RD2000 uses a higher frequency that you can't hear it. Most modern flashes are like that.

I will answer my own question here in case someone is searching for this information in the future.

I just got my RD2000 and it does indeed make high pitched noises as the flash recharges between firing.
