Anyone who has spent some time in the POTN neighborhood has likely come accross Hikin' Mike. He's one of our own here. Now, he has taken another "step" towards his richly deserved recognition as the nature photographer he is. In a feature article in the January 2011 edition of "Guideposts" magazine (look at check-out counters in grocery stores), Mike and his journey through hardships in life through a success as a top outdoor photographer is documented. A very inspiring article in the section aptly named "New Beginnings", you and the world can read all about our very own "Hikin' Mike" . . .

Well deserved exposure, Mike!

I'm afraid I haven't run across him here. What's his POTN user name?

I've seen Hikin' Mike around here, good for him. Never noticed that magazine, would like to read the article if I see it.

Not seen him on here, but just read the article in the link. Congratulations and good on him, not just for getting printed, but for his whole journey.
