They each serve their purpose. I use the Bamboo when I am traveling as it is nice and light. If doesn't have as much customization available for it but it is better than not having one. I think it is a good option for someone that is just starting out with a tablet. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Any tablet (from wacom) is better than any mouse. they tale a litlle getting used to but they offer so much more control. First step........ Take the lens cap off.

Jan 23, 2011 21:33 | #13 My first tablet is the Cintiq - and it takes a LOT of getting used to. I still use the mouse for many functions because it's faster. For fine detail editing/drawing the tablet pen is better. -- Image Editing OK --
