Just general critique, mostly curious on how I did with WB and contrast.
Thanks!

White balance looks good. I think I might bump the contrast up slightly with a curves or levels adjustment, but not much at all. It has a good range of tones, but lacks a little bit of pop, but you are very close in my opinion.

You can if you want. I think her sweatshirt is a little too gray but I didn't want it to look blown out either.

What a cute little girl! I do agree about the contrast but I think it looks good the way it is too. i know not much help but she is a cutie!

It's a good photo, but the jacket is just a tad textureless, so it looks blown out. I tweaked it a bit with the exposure brush.

I think the photo looks great, other than the background, a wider aperture and the background could have been blurred out a little more to make it recognizable but not so obvious... But agreed she's adorable...

Excellent shot. I like kaptnkain's edit because it makes her eyes pop. Very cute kid.

Lettie, I think you have a great shot there. Is it perfect? No, I suppose not, but what is? I don't like the edit. Looks like she is wearing lipstick, and while the eyes are brighter they are getting close to that unnatural look that so many folks seem to refer to as "pop". To each his own on PP, but that is not for me.

Yes, i agree it looks like she has lipstick, but her lips are very red in the original.

Thanks for the edit, kaptnkain.
Her lips are naturally very red. :)
