Red Wattlebird & European Goldfinch

The Red Wattlebird is pretty much our largest honey eater here,. The red wattles on it's cheeks get longer and darken with age. They make a very loud sharp noise thats not very pleasant.

I think I may have shown a Euro Goldfinch before maybe, but I love them. pretty little birds and a lovely song.

I remember the first time I saw a Goldfinch as a Kid. I thought I'd won the lottery. Lovely little bird.
