The 3530 is pretty much larger to carry around and I'm not sure it would be worth it. The 3541LS holds almost anything and should be enough for most people, if you don't have a 800mm or so 5D mk III | TS-E 17 f/4L | 50 f/1.4 | 70-200 f/2.8L IS II | 100 f/2.8L Macro IS | 300 f/2.8L IS | 600 f/4L IS II | 1.4x III | 2x III | Gitzo tripods | RRS ballheads | Wimberley gimbal

Jan 21, 2011 18:46 | #9 My (little) Gitzo family consists of a 3530 Systematic (for my 600mm) a 2531 (for general use) and a 3320BS for low level. I cannot fault them and their load bearing capabilities are way beyond their specification. I have read that the GT2531 will support 77Kilo rather than it's quoted 12Kilo, never tried it! However I can state (with confidence) that the 3320BS will happily support me - 105Kilo! Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

Hey, I like my polks. =) I got them at a steal and they are higher end RTI series. Now my subwoofer is a different story, no polk there. Here is my sub... My polk fronts.. Sean

I did away with my subs a while back when I bought Definitive Technology towers with built in powered subs. They are killer. I think the 2x4's are coming loose in my house. In fact, my wife is out. Maybe I'll go blast it. ![]() me I wasn't sure if you were joking or not. Todd Lambert wrote in post #11692279 Nice family shot! I have a 3531 now and I'd like to get something smaller for some things. I think with two, you should be set for just about anything. Yeah, that was my thinking too. The 1541T for smaller everyday/hiking and the 3 series for everything else. Sean
