The guide book said "Through gorge--Difficult." And it was not exaggerating. But we saw beautiful things seen by few.

This was treated with a homemade action. I saw a post by ReubenH that reminded me of a certain Topaz effect and he was kind enough to share how he did it. The effect is 50% masked off my sister's face and shirt.

Here's the link to that post: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=981653

Oh wow, that turned out really well! has that wavy effect on everything. Mine looked like a botched attempt at something else, this one looks very purposeful and well done.

Thanks. I made an action that repeats reduce noise followed by sharpen for a total of four pairs: rn, s, rn, s, rn, s, rn, s.
The strength of reduce noise is set on 8 and the color noise reduction is 30%.
If you don't use some color noise reduction some really odd color artifacts will show up.
All the detail settings are left on zero.
Sometimes it looks best to make it end on reduce noise, skipping the last sharpen step.
I used it on the full resolution file.
It doesn't work on all photos. But I got nice results on nature and architecture shots.
What I like is it lets the color and luminosity of the original shine through.
Thanks again for sharing your discovery. Its another tool in the tool box.

I tried again to another pic, and I really like how it came out. Basically did RN and S as desired, ended up using reduce noise a lot more. Ended up with this.

Nice. I like the way the action accentuates luminosity and hue by smearing the sharpness details in a pleasing way.
On most of the shots I've done with it, after applying it for the first time,
I went back to the original and reworked it for contrast and brightness and got a more satisfying result.
