Pic #2 is interesting. It kinda looks like a cartoon. (especially the eye).

I wonder though... I have some pictures from a morning shot of a seagull. I got the same bleuish tint in the white feathers that you have in the first and last pic (but mine are much "bluer") I tried to whiten it up in post, but... the rest of the photo didn't look right. Any ideas on how to do this?

I really like the second photo, really sharp. The blueish tint gives the photo's a moody feel. Kinda makes me wish I had some L glass to experiment with.

Those are really nice, Carzee.

You can get the blue out with selective color. Select just the pelican first if you want the water to stay that color.

Just got back from 3 days work down south of the border. Freezing Victoria. Been offline quite a while it seems, I missed POTN.

The blue light is mostly reflections from the boat hulls etc but all blues are boosted by the CPL which cools all the light. I played with the hues in RSE and liked those results most.

Ends up that I am set to be working extra hours and getting some of the wish list during September and October... got the flash and ST-E2 last week but havent even had time to try them yet.
