Agreed. The reviews are terrible. Looks like it's really a 200x card that's being sold as a 400x card. Buyer beware!

I have been back and forth as to whether or not to try one. So far I have no complaints with my Sandisk Ex III's. I have only used one Transcend and it gave issue (not a 400x though).

Just thought I would share the above deal for any who were interested (I know some rave about them in other posts) - dont view it as an endorsement ;)

True -- definitely a good price for a 16GB card 200x card. Just wanted folks to be aware of the potential speed issue. Still is a good deal if someone is looking for a card in the 30mb/s speed range!

Why not pay 27 dollars more for a 32GB then? :)

I have 2 of this card. Great card in the real world. I put the guys that feel the need to benchmark their cards in the same group that says their pictures are soft when viewed at 200%...

i have this card.

it pooped out on me after five months, so i had to send it in for a new one.

the replacement i got (although seems like the same card on the outside) is noticeably slower than the one i had before.

therefore, now i'm just sticking with my sandisk's.

The 32GB version has been excellent for me.

I too, have heard of problems with the 16GB.

I have 2 of these and have not had any problems with the 7d. Great price! I missed them.

The 16G cards are rated at 30MB/s write and 60MB/s read,
but the 32G and 64G rated at 60MB/s write and 90MB/s read

So go for the 32G and 64G to get the proper speed. It's not
Transccent that is stating the wrong speeds, it's the retailers
that don't bother to look at the specs before putting the
products on their website.

I have had the 16GB one for a long time and I have had no issues. I also have the 32GB one.
