Hi everyone. I've been here for almost a year and I have seen lots and lots of memorable thread. I'd like to make a list out of the best ones. You know, the ones that everyone has to know and read. Some are really nice stories, some are funny, some start really sad and end really well. There's been a lot and and I sure have missed a lot also.

So if you remember some threads that are particularly interesting, worth sharing, epic or anything that has stuck to your mind and if you come by in ten years you would still remember them, share them here!

I'll do my best to keep the list up to date, so that you don't have to read every pages of the thread to find the links.

So I'll just start with some I remember, please add some that marked you!

Karma and my beloved 70-200

Lost CF Cards...

My dying sister's wedding

40D Burst Rate Not Hitting 6.5 FPS

Ducks Ducks and more Ducks!
-=Show US=- How you got your title
someone point me the way to selecting ISO

lost my lens

kit lens quality
You canon people are a pain in the arse.

Let's see your boxes

Please share along as I continue to update the list :)

My favorite thread is "Shooting the streets/candids - all the tips" All the tips for street photography are really there in that thread:)

Thanks Veemac, I've added it to the list!

Jay, I'm looking more for some great stories thread, funny thread etc. POTN is full of thread filled with tips and tricks, listing them all here would take too long (and it's not the goal of this thread also :p). But thanks for sharing, there's indeed nice tips in there.

I have gotten a lot of motivation from this thread -

Post the sharpest picture that you've ever taken

Well guys, I'm really thinking of threads everywhere must know if they are part of POTN. You know, the best ones. Of course there are lots of nice thread but my goal was if you have some free time, you have to read those thread. The girl's rant about another guy might not fit this idea, same for the post your sharpest picture. They both are great threads, but not awesome ones!

I was also looking for another thread, it comes to life each couple of months, you know the guy was sharing a picture of his....hmmm... under the belly hair. Have you seen it?

how about the thread with the history of duck shots? https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=582739 -- that's pretty quintessentially POTN
