Pretty sure both are in high demand so you will eventually get your money back +/= a few $$ 5D mark ii | Sigma 85 f1.4 | 17-40 f4L YN--468 | 2x YN-560 | Einstein AB1600 | Kacey 22" BDWebsite

While the V5 is not perfect (I wish it were smaller) it does have some convenient features. And considering that you will likely be using whatever trigger system you pick you might seriously consider how much these features will help in the long run.

I was lucky to be able to test the cactus v5 system for over the past month. The parts I like are. The transceiver design. So I have the ability to do on axis fill. The next is the reliability. I ran out of room to test at over 600 feet not one miss fire.. The use AAA batteries. They handle more than 12v strobes.. They have been tested to 300v. They feel really solid. I demonstrated this in the following video showing the stability and strength. I was very very impressed with them. Cameras: Canon 60D and 20D

If you go to the store you will notice none are on there. The main thing that would worry me with the RF-603 is a transceiver design with no lock down!?! Would you trust the 603 with your heavy flash on camera with no lock down? I sure as heck would not. Cameras: Canon 60D and 20D
