This beautiful Anna's hummingbird sits in a tree beside our driveway- near enough to the feeder to make sure no one else uses it!

Good shot,

A juvie I guess... they look quite a lot like our Ruby Throats at this age.
We're really looking forward to late March when they return here. :)

Nice shot. I have noticed my hummer doing the same thing. Just close enough to defend the food supply :) one of these days ill get a shot of it feeding while I'm trying to add more food. crazy little guys

That is a really pretty shot. It has some nice clarity and detail and has lovely colours. I would clone out the blurry branch in the background as it is a bit distracting. But either way, it's lovely.
