Photography Grants, etc

Hey Guys,

So I'm trying to figure this one out..I'm going to (or would like to) head out to Haiti in May. I'm a photojournalist student and I'm looking to find some stories and try to bring light to them. Yes I know of the dangers etc, I'll have a guide with me.

My question(s)...

Is there any where that gives out grants for this sort of thing...any money will help towards the goal? Travel grants etc?

Your best bet is to Google it. I've looked into grants for myself and to say its easy to find and understand the information is an understatement. Be prepared to spend some time researching and looking and probably come up short. But it doesn't hurt to look.
