Here's a few pictures taken at Simmons in San Diego. Conditions were great with light winds, dropping tide, and a NW swell. It was the 1st time I've been able to use the 100-400mm L w/a Kenko 1.4X telcon on my 1D MK II and it helps that there was plenty of light.

Feedback is welcome.

Neat shots. Such a shame that last one is so backlit.....I would have loved to see the surfer catch more lighting. Still a great shot, though.

I pulled in right at 2pm and was there till 4pm (what a beautiful day). The bigger sets were in Middles but as the tide dropped Simmons started to barrel.

Ahhhh Man I decided to leave right around 2, I should have stayed longer.

really cool shots, i would just check your metering as some of them are a bit dark on the actual surfer.

last shot is a winner with good timing and composition

I'm liking the 1d MK II and the only downside is 1.3 vs. 1.6 but pulled out my trusty Kenko 1.4X telecon for the weekend. If things work out I'm sure I'll flip the 1D and step up to a 7D by the end of summer.

Question: If I have a few folks that are interested in purchasing the JPEG....what would you normally charge? If I'm charging $20 for an 8" X 10" print via MPIX I'm thinking at $10...thoughts?
