CPS Gold 2011, No charge??

I got my CPS gold kit the other day. I don't use neckstraps so whatever for that thing. But I really like the EF Lens Work III book. And hopefully the service will prove itself worthwhile and eventually I'll be doing enough work to where Platinum becomes necessary.

oh yeah...Gold membership (and Platinum) have the ability to evaluate all of their lenses up to two times each.

I believe when you request lenses, you can have them for a week or two, and just pay shipping/insurance back to them.

beats renting them :-)

I became a gold member too recently. I just sold the CPS strap and the Lens Work III book (which I regretted since...). The resulting $70 will help fund IS motor replacement in my 17-55 2.8, along with the 30% off.

I will also send in my 7D for a clean and check, it's out of warranty (although my AMEX card may cover any repairs if needed.)
