Thanks for sharing these beauties Harv. Your description brought back memories of my Michigan home. I remember those -30 to -35 degree nights when I stood outside and listened to the trees creaking and moaning in the wind. That is bitter cold and honestly the memory will do fine from here on out, no need to live that again. My favorite line to my brothers when I visit up there in the winter is "I can't believe you live here on purpose". :)

A perfect couple of shots showing the "puffability" of below zero birds... my Blue Jays and Gray Jay are looking like that these days :) Pretty dove images Harvey, the only ones I see around here are during the spring migration and they don't hang out too long... I always marvel how the birds and animals survive in this deep below zero weather...

Thanks a lot, Dave. I have these guys hear year round. Most are pretty skittish but this one has become quite tolerant of me. It amazes me as well how they survive.

Awesome images Harvey, and yes dang cold. -22C today in London, ON with a wind chill of -30C

Thanks a lot, Woody.

Man that is cold! It gives you a respect for how tough all these guys are braving that kind of cold. Great looking pair Harv.

Thanks a lot. As always, much appreciated.

Really nice Dove shot there, Harvey! It's sort of like wearing a nice, puffy jacket when it's cold out; you just sort of want to hunker down in it :)

Thanks a lot. It certainly was hunkered down... but not too far from the food. :)
