Hey there, id like to hear some advice.

Atm im studying film and animation and am using the 7d. Very happy with the quality and files and now with some largish assignments looming up i need a second camera.

I narrowed it down to either a 5d mk II (would compliment my primes well and ff to boot)
or a sony nex vg10.
The form factor makes it much easier for longer handheld filming. The size and sensor size are attractive aswell, getting one of those adapters and a nice set of old minolta primes.

The Panasonic af100 was a consideration but its price tag is slightly higher to swallow. Id like to keep it in or below the 5dII range.

So, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

i've definitely been eying that VG-10. It's exactly what I'd want. The lens interchangability is exactly what I think a "handicam" format is looking for. It doesn't quite seem "pro" yet though. I forsee in a year or two that more cameras will come out like the VG-10. For right right now though, the 60D or 5Dm2 is going to be better off.
