how would you finish / protect a canvas prints

I have printed of a few of my prints onto canvas but i have noticed one or 2 of them have got slightly marked in transit. is there a spray or coating which people would recomend to protect from accidental damage and or UV and is available in the UK ?

For protecting the prints, there are several methods of using lacquer or varnish. For whatever reason it seems like photographers don't do this as often to their "prints" but it is a popular method when an oil painter makes a reproduction and calls it a "giclee"
