Here in Sw Fl, driving some of the backs roads ( here Jane's scenic drive ) has it's own special road hazzards. These guys come out to lie in the sun and warm up and are sometimes very slow to move.

That's why I let my buddy get out and pose with them, They can supposedly hit 30 mph in short burst's which my buddy can't making for excellent photo ops if one decides to get a little Po'd. Some expert will probably correct me on this but from observation it seems when they first come out of the cold water to get the sun they are pretty sluggish. i think in summer when the water is warm they would be a little more agile. 70D/24-105L
