Should i buy a refurbished Dell U2311h?

Direct from Dell, there's no risk. If the unit is defective, keep exchanging it under warranty until you get an acceptable one. (Notice I said "acceptable" and not "perfect")

Reburbished from the manufacturer in my experience offers little risk. It is in their best interest to make sure these items work according to specifications.

Essentially... I was lucky enough to get a Dell 2209wa with no dead pixels and no sign of any tint issues, but I don't even know Dell's current policy on the allowable number of dead pixels.

I just ordered the Refurbed U2311. Dell had it listed for $199. I had a coupon for 20% off and after a long fight to use it, it's getting shipped to my door for $170 after tax. As long as it works, cant really complain except for the crap I had to go through to get them to honor the coupon.
