Taken in Michigan this past winter with a 400L lens. This was taken about 5pm as the sun was starting to go down. I cannot ever remember being that cold.

I've waited out in the cold many times with wind whipping across the salt marshes waiting for owls, with no shots yet. I actually look forward to winter for just such events (minus the freezing part!) You must have been thrilled with this shot, I would be! RESPECTING NATURE while photographing it...
