Interesting. . but not quie as i want to keep the color of the original image. This tutorial simply creates line art tracing. Kinda cool actually. thanks for the link

No Photoshop filter/action will magically create those line arts for you. You'll have to draw those yourself. You can use pencil tool or even Illustrator or whatever, but NO filter in the world will create that.

That is the first step to creating that effect. You first have to trace the outline of the subject(s) with the pen tool, as per the tutorial, in a separate layer. Then you overlay the outline onto the original image, make adjustments to the color as needed, and you can achieve a similar effect.

Might take a look at either Topaz Simplify and Clean or Akvis Sketch.

Actually there is an adobe illustrator plug-in that attempts to do this with mixed results. I wish I could tell you the name of it but I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head.

Soliz, I hate to play the part of the Forum Killjoy but it's against POTN rules to post an image that you don't own -- you are required instead to just post a link to that image. So, I'd suggest you do that before one of the mods takes over and do it for you!

yeah, that's exactly the problem. i'm sure there are tons of plugins or filters that attempts to create that feel and nowhere even near acceptable. maybe for fun but can't be serious about it.

If it was easy, everybody could do it, then it wouldn't be special or unique.

I saw a tutorial called duplicating "Scanner darkly" that is almost a direct match. Only it's done in Illustrator. but very close. So this is another option for sure.
