Wanted to test out the Sigma 8-16mm the other day so headed to a spot I have gone before, but ventured inside this time for some HDR action.

Blended 3 exposures in Photomatix and did a little post in CS5, mainly levels to fix the overall exposure and (de)saturation. The HDR blew the saturation out of the water, so had to lower it some to get it a little more reasonable.

BTW, If any of you guys are wondering about the Sigma 8-16, get it. It's great. Most of these, if not all, were around f/8 so of course they are pretty sharp, but I was impressed with the overall colors and sharpness (edge to edge) of the Sigma. If you are using a tripod or just don't need the aperture of some of its competitors, then its worth it. Plus, its 8mm, which is always fun.

How much lens correction did you have to do to stand these 'back up vertical' ??

Thanks!

Actually none. I corrected the horizon in a couple where my tripod wasn't straight, but no distortion correction.

Really nice job with the colors. A bit over the top, but not distractingly so. Just enough. All are good, but the classroom is my favorite.
