Thes shots are quite good. What did you use for camera support, a gimbal head or a straight ballhead on tripod
I used a Gimbal (Jobu Blackwidow HD Gimbal Head MkII). Good support with this combo is essential in my experience.

I'm not 100% sure about the possibility of stacking the Mk III 1.4X behind the 2X, but the images I've seen comparing the two 1.4X telecons shows the dimensions to be the same. Tom
