I just opened my new studio and did a test print but it didn't match what I saw on my monitor. I didn't have that problem at home. I use the huey to calibrate my monitor and worked fine before. For some reason I can't get it to give me a good calibration in my studio with florescent lights. Will the spyder give me a better result?

If the Huey worked fine before, there's no reason it wouldn't continue to work fine. Why not just turn the lights off when calibrating the monitor?

If you have to work under fluorescent lighting, make sure they are good quality bulbs/tubes with 5000K color temperature. GE makes some decent tubes and it's easy to find CFL bulbs with 5000K temperature and fairly high CRI rating (85+). CRI is Color Rendering Index.

The lighting that you view and display your prints under is a different issue.

I saw this blog article recently and it shows a great light setup:

I wasn't sure if they sold 5000k temperature lights that would fit. So I'll head to home depot later and see if I can find them. I use 5000k lights in my house so I think that's the problem in my new studio.
