got this guy on my hike today. I had a time getting him to let me take his picture.

Nice! Too bad it's not completely in focus, but I know how hard that is, ya shoulda seen all the squirrel and chipmunk shots I threw out from yesterday's hike. :)

I know. He was suprisingly fast. I should have switched lenses and shot it freehand, but I was affraid I would miss the opportunity.

and there were several I missed yesterday because I had the polarizer on and didn't have time to get it off (in the trees) to get the shot I wanted. Animals, birds, insects all seem to move too fast for me :) at least I usually capture landscapes :) :) :)

You've been doing a lot of hiking lately, Crypto... :) Nice shot here, despite the focus issue. That's another creature I haven't seen on one of my own hikes.

I love those littel guys.. (i know most people gp "yuck" )

There very cool and cute IMHO.. :) I had a pet one I kept one summer,. it's name was ,. of course,. "Amtrack".
