I don't consider this my best seascape of the year, but I missed this thread and already posted the others on the landscape thread. So opting to not repeat, I'll show this one. Not my best, but I still quite like it. I like the somewhat raw mood it imparts.

Like the shot Matt. I like the contrast between the warm sunlight and the cold fog bank.

I agree, the contrast between the warm sun and the fog bank is very interesting and works very well in the image. Also your overall contrast/warmth and color work nicely too.

Back in Jan, at about 8:15am, I went out back of my house, and saw what I felt
would make for a great picture. A bit of fog, which is very unusual here in South
West Florida, extremely still waters, and a very low tide, along with a beautiful
clear morning, all conspired for a great shot. My dock (the one in the center) is 360
feet long, and the river is a bit less than a mile wide.
