The frog looks like a wood frog Rana sylvatica, http://www.dgif.state.va.us …ies/display.asp?id=020019

and of course that's a box turtle.

Nice! Looks like you scared the turtle. :lol: I haven't run across one of those yet on my hikes. Plenty of frogs, but no turtles yet.
