After losing a battle (and a leg) with a truck on my motorcyle a few years back, I haven't been very active. But after getting my first DSLR, I have wanted to get out a lot more the last couple of years, and after working with my physcial therapist, I am ready to hit the streets again (but not on roads with trucks)! My drivway isn't the best location, but I wanted to snap a few while it was still factory fresh. It looks odd, but is actually pretty easy to go fast on!

Looks pretty wicked. Do you pedal with your hands?

Yup. It's called either an "arm bike" or "handcycle". Since it's a tually a trike, I guess handcycle would be the most correct. Either way after a bit of a learning curve, it's tons of fun to ride. Not quite as much as my dearly departed VFR-800, but I take what I can get!

Cool ride, looks like there should be room for a "gear platform" off the back.;)

LoL, no, I don't quite have the Popeye arms that would take! Luckily there are some great trails here in the east bay that run right along the water that are relatively flat.

And I do have a small basket on order for the back that will just hold my Lowepro
