I'm having a problem that CS5/Bridge does not recognize Aperture when I try and open up a photo. What am I doing wrong.

Not sure why your workflow would need to open Aperture from Bridge. Aperture can open up Photoshop CS5 for more advanced edits but not the other way around. If you want to open the pictures directly from Bridge/CS5, you will have to point it to the folder on your hard drive where the images are stored. If you do open them this way, you will not see any of the edits that you have done in Aperture. Mark-B

GregEdge Member 118 posts Joined Jan 2010 More info | Jan 29, 2011 19:42 | #4 You are better off "round tripping" from Aperture. Go to Preferences and set CS5 as your editor. Then you just right mouse click on the photo and open it in CS5. Once you close or save from CS5 it will show up in Aperture.
