These are all wonderful renditions of this immaculate little bird Harvey... clean, crisp feathers in "living, natural color".... :) you are my mentor!
I have been getting a few goldfinches flying in at various times... they accompany the redpolls and Pine Grosbeaks... my little guys are sporting the same hues.

Dave, you always have such kind things to say and I am truly flattered, although undeserving of such high praise. Thanks a lot, my friend.

The IQ on all of these blows me away! Beautiful images, Harvey.

Thanks a lot, Levina. You too are always very kind with your comments.

.....and they seem darn hard to get a decent focus on. But not for you obviously. Well done.

Thanks very much.

Wow, Harvey. These are some really wonderful shots! Big fan of #4, myself; the combo of the darker portion of the background, the muted colors on the bird and its pose just really pop there, to me.

Thanks a lot for the very kind words.

Harv, these are just stunning. I'd be hard pressed to pick one that I like better than the others.

You set a very high bar for the rest of us to aspire to. Thank you!!
