Hey guys,

I need your advice about choosing some cheap triggers. I am a wedding photographer and dont use a lot of OCF, but when I do I would like it to work consistently. I had practically decided to go with the Cybersyncs or the Skyports, until I saw the talk about the Cactus V5.

I have the v4's, and they work pretty good (until you drop one from 8 feet attached to a flash). I was looking for something with a little more range and more reliability, but I have decided against going the Pocket Wizard or Radio Popper route. I just find it hard to drop that kind of cash with how fast the technology is advancing.

Any quick tips?
Thank you all.

I upgraded from the cactus v4s to the cybersyncs and I couldn't be happier.

I have been using the Cybersync's with great success. Consistent and reliable. Not in a studio, but in high school gyms and arenas. So far this season, I have shot over 40 basketball games and a dozen or more volleyball games using the AB 1600's and the Cybersync's (CST and CSRB's).
