Maybe that is the reason why B&H has 4 x 55mm Macro, but only one 50mm f/1.4.

Canon 5D3 + Zoom (EF 17-40L, 24-105L & 28-300L, 100-400L II) & Prime (24L II, 85L II, 100L, 135L & 200 f/2.8L II; Zeiss 1,4/35)
Sony α7r + Zeiss 1,8/55 FE
Nikon Coolpix A; Nikon F3 & F100 + Zeiss 1,4/50

I dunno how much is the 50mm f/1.4 AIS but if the D series fits I think you are better off with a used 50mm f/1.4D for just about $200++ or so... this is easier to resell :D

I forgot where I read before, but someone believe that 50mm f/1.4 AIS MF (maybe the f/1.2 MF one) is overrated.

So, I just need to be bit more patient, and get the AF used one then.

take off the pk13. lol Then you should be able to focus further out.

My favorite of the mf macros is the 55 f3.5. Loved that one.

the 50 1.2 is unique but not very sharp at 1.2. Pretty bokeh though

Hi Ms. Permie :D

hahaha ohh that shot was with the PK-13 but of course with the PK-13 I can't even focus more than a few inches from the lens

this was given to me fungus infected, I had it cleaned and I was surprised how sharp it is...

its cheaper and easier to resell..except its not really good at f/1.4, but at like f/1.8 up and you get very sharp results
