D300. I'm still kicking myself for not trying to get it. I saw the listing literally right after it was posted.

So did I. I didn't post in the thread until the deal was made. :p

Yeah, guilty as charged. I'm drooling over a 200-400 right now but if the better half sees me drop ~$6k on a single lens I'm liable to be bunking in the doghouse.

The D300, $103.30 to be exact since I covered the PP fees. It has a sticky mirror but works perfectly in LV mode.

i wouldn't care if it was dipped in honey, 100 bucks for a d300, i'm never so lucky.

Im still contiplating in picking up the 80-200mm for 250 dollars and sending it off to get fixed, thats an 1100 dollar lens.

I don't know, got mine from the Nikon store for $899 with free shipping. I think they have them back in stock right now.

eflay has them going from 500-600 all day long, thats just the d300 not the S, I'll rock the d3000 for awhile and then snatch a d300 later on.

I was speaking of the 80-200 f/2.8, even comes with a brand new old style round case. I don't regret my purchase.

I just put the Zeiss 25mm on the D800 and took a few shots at f/4. It's a dark, dreary overcast day and even with that the colors just seem to pop. I don't use primes a lot these days but with the IQ and microcontrast from the Zeiss I may get back into it and maybe the 100mm. Can't wait to run a roll of Velvia through the F100 using that lens.

I found 2, one has severe fungus the other has sticky shutterblades, probably take 2-300 to fix them.

K6AZ - is this the battery you found? Great price if it really works...

Okay, got it today. Physical specs are perfect. Charged with no problems. Electrical tests check out. Powers camera and registers. I'd say it's a winner for the price.
