Is it okay to use the Sterlingtek NB-L6 Battery on the s95 camera it is 1200mAh
Canons stock battery is 1000mAh. It is also lithium-ion.

Its fine. I bought one that is 1400mAh. Had some issues with my order but everything turned out ok. I don't know about others experiences but my sterlingtek battery looked like the cheap ebay stuff that was just relabeled.

Dang, a 1400mAh would be nice! Might have to pick one of those up. I have two official Canon ones now.

Huh, I dont see a 1400mAh on Sterlingtek's website....

Oh wait! But I do see a 1600mAh!!! LINK (external link)

Ordering one of those up!

AH too bad they want $7.99 shipping!!! Meh, for $23 I dont really need it that bad considering I already have two Canon ones.

I actually bought the same Sterlingtek as well. Dh22 probably had the same problem as me. I ordered a 1600mah from the website. (their site has too many duplicates of the same item with different descriptions) I received a 1400mah. I contacted them, and they shipped me the correct 1600mah immediately. They asked me to ship back the incorrect order (at my expense $2.5).

I ordered the 1600and received the 1600 from them. It arrived pretty fast too, 4 days after placing order. One thing though, it's a little tighter than the Canon battery in the camera.

I good news after first full charge. This 1600mah battery gave me 260 shots & some videos with a lot of image reviewing in the LCD. My stock Canon battery would give me 200 shots if I'm lucky. So far so good.

Dang, considering the 1600mAh battery is 60% larger in size over the Canons, I would have thought it would yield more than 60 additional shots...
