Have you asked him if he wants to sell it, doesn't look like he is doing a lot with it. Domains are cheap but if you offer him a couple of hundred dollars he may sell it.

I voted for #2 if you can't get the davidkam.com (wish that you get it!)...

What type of photographer are you? And what are you trying to acheive?

I would say something like www.davidk.com because www.davidkamphotograph​y.com is to long.
same with the octopus one, the .net one might be fine. but it might be another thing
that could go wrong. davidk is short and easy. I would go with davidkam if you can get it though.

I went for www.davidkamphotograph​y.com but agree it's too long with Callum.

How about something like:

www.davidkamimages.com
www.davidkimages.com
www.davidk.com (as Callum said is pretty good).
